Lock Quest: The Word Garden Gate

The garden gate is open!

The gate swings open and hundreds of word flowers wave hello. Clover hops in a happy circle and hands your team a watering can.

You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!

Your mission

Clover the bunny has a secret garden where words grow like flowers. Every big word grows from a smaller word at its root, called the base word. A prefix can grow on the front and a suffix can grow on the back. Some words only LOOK like they have a prefix. Clover left clues at the gate, but no directions.

How to crack a lock

• Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
• Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
• Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
• Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
• A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
