The trophy case is open!
The glass door swings open. Coach Bear hands the tallest trophy to your team. The plate on the front says "Champions of Careful Thinking."
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
Coach Bear cannot open the trophy case, and the awards assembly is about to start. A DECIMAL is a way to write a number that has parts smaller than one. The first place after the point is tenths, and the next is hundredths. So 0.5 is five tenths, and 0.05 is five hundredths, which is much smaller. A longer decimal is NOT always a bigger number. Coach left clues all over the gym. Look closely and work together.
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
