How to play

  1. Look at the 5 categories below. Your team's job: find ONE answer that fits all 5.
  2. Nobody has a "correct" answer in mind, not even your teacher! The best answers are usually ones nobody expected.
  3. Once your team has an answer, make your case. Explain how it fits each category. All 5 connections have to make sense.
  4. Another team can challenge the connection they think is weakest: "That doesn't count!"
  5. Your team then has 30 seconds to convince everyone that it does.
  6. Connections don't have to be perfectly literal. Personal experience, multiple meanings, cultural references, and clever exceptions can all count, if you can make a reasonable argument for it.
  7. Then the class decides. Does that count?

There are 170 rounds. Don't worry if you can't think of an answer that works for every single one, nobody is supposed to have the answer!
