The star chest is open!
Inside the chest is a telescope pointed at one exact spot in the sky. Your team takes turns looking. There it is: a comet with a long, shining tail.
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
Quill the owl is an astronomer, and her star chest is locked five ways. Her star map is a grid of squares. Every COLUMN has a letter and every ROW has a number, so every square has its own name, like C4. Say the letter first and then the number. Row 1 is at the bottom. With a grid, you can tell anyone exactly where to look, and exactly how to get from one square to another. Look closely and work together.
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
