The potion cabinet is open!
The doors swing open and a hundred bottles glow in every color. Midnight pours your team a cup of something fizzy. "Half for you, and two fourths for me."
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
Midnight the cat is a potion maker, and her cabinet is locked five ways. A fraction names a part of a whole. The bottom number tells how many equal parts the whole is cut into, and the top number tells how many parts you have. Two fractions can LOOK different and still be the very same amount. One half, two fourths, and three sixths are all equal. Midnight's clues are full of fractions in disguise. Look closely and work together.
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
