Lock Quest: The Mountain Pass

The pass gate is open!

The gate swings open at the very top of the pass. Far below, the whole world is spread out like a map: mountains, a winding river, and the shining sea.

You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!

Your mission

Felix the fox is hiking to the top of the mountain pass, and the gate is locked five ways. The shapes of the land are called LANDFORMS. Mountains, valleys, islands, and plains are all landforms. Water shapes the land, too. Rivers always run downhill, from high ground to the sea. A good explorer can read the land like a book.

How to crack a lock

• Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
• Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
• Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
• Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
• A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
