Lock Quest: The Mayor's Desk

The desk drawer is open!

The drawer slides open. Inside is the mayor's gavel and a stack of "I Voted" stickers. Mayor Bear bangs the gavel once. "This meeting will come to order!"

You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!

Your mission

Mayor Bear cannot open her desk drawer, and the town meeting starts in ten minutes. Every community needs RULES so people stay safe and treat each other fairly. Rules that everyone must follow are called LAWS. Communities choose their leaders and make big decisions by VOTING. Each person gets one vote, and the choice with more than half of the votes wins.

How to crack a lock

• Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
• Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
• Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
• Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
• A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
