The lamp room is open!
You flip the last switch. The great lamp blazes and sweeps across the water, and far out at sea, a ship turns safely toward home.
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
The lighthouse lamp has gone dark, and ships are coming. The lamp room is locked five ways. Electricity only flows when it has a complete loop to travel around, called a CIRCUIT. Light travels in straight lines. It bounces off mirrors, passes through clear glass, and stops at solid things, which leaves a shadow behind them. The keeper, an owl, left her notebook and her tests.
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
