โจ Welcome to the Fun House!
Hanukkah is an eight-night winter holiday celebrated by Jewish families around the world. It's also called the Festival of Lights. Some favorite traditions: spinning dreidels, eating crispy potato pancakes called latkes and jelly donuts called sufganiyot, playing for chocolate coins called gelt, and adding one more candle to the menorah each night. Six games, lots of fun!
๐ฒ Dreidel Duel
Everyone starts with 10 gelt coins and puts 1 in the pot. Take turns spinning the dreidel. The letter that lands face up tells you what to do. Last player with coins (or the richest after 20 rounds) wins!
๐ฅ Latke Flip
Latkes are potato pancakes fried until golden. Watch the color! Flip it when it's golden brown: too early is raw and mushy, too late is burnt. Press Space or tap FLIP. You have 60 seconds!
๐ช Gelt Split
Gelt means chocolate coins! Share them EQUALLY. Sometimes there are leftovers (a remainder) for the bank.
๐ฏ๏ธ Menorah Math
A Hanukkah menorah holds 9 candles: 8 for the nights, plus a helper candle in the middle that lights the others. Night 1 has 1 candle + the helper. Night 2 has 2 + the helper... Solve a puzzle for each night to light it up!
๐ฉ Sufganiyot Donut Decorator
