The backpack is open!
Inside the backpack are binoculars, a compass, and a map of the whole world. Felix zips it up and asks your team, "Where should we explore first?"
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
Felix the fox is going exploring, but his backpack is locked five ways. A HABITAT is the place where a plant or animal lives. An ADAPTATION is a body part or a behavior that helps it survive there. A beak, a hump, thick fur, hiding in plain sight, and flying south for the winter are all adaptations. Each one is a tool for solving a problem. Work out what problem each tool solves.
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
