The crystal door is open!
The door swings open into a room that sparkles from floor to ceiling. The mouse miner hands each of you a crystal. "Every geologist needs a first rock," she says.
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
Deep in the Crystal Cave is a door locked five ways. Geologists are scientists who study rocks and minerals, and they test everything. They scratch minerals to see which is harder. They weigh them and measure them. They figure out how each rock was made: from cooled lava, from layers pressed together, or by heat and squeezing deep underground. A mouse miner left her tools and tests behind. What do they prove?
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
