The clock tower is open!
You climb the stairs and give the giant pendulum a push. Tick. Tock. The great bell rings out over the whole town, right on time.
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
The clock tower has stopped, and the door is locked five ways. ELAPSED TIME is how much time goes by between a start and an end. There are 60 minutes in an hour, so time does not work like ordinary numbers. From 2:50 to 3:10 is only 20 minutes, even though 310 take away 250 is 60. A mouse lives behind the big clock face, and every clue in the tower is something it left behind. Look closely and work together.
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
