The case file is open!
Inspector Fox tips his hat. "Case closed!" he says. "Your team can crack any word, even one nobody has ever seen before."
You are now a Lock Master. Go tell your teacher!
Your mission
Inspector Fox has a case file full of mystery words, and it is locked five ways. A good reader is a detective. When you meet a word you do not know, you do not give up. You look at the clues around it. Many of these words are made up, so nobody on your team can already know them. You will have to prove what each one means.
How to crack a lock
- Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
- Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
- Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
- Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
- A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
