Your mission

Midnight the cat wants to see the butterflies, but the glass door is locked five ways. A butterfly is SYMMETRICAL. If you fold it down the middle, one wing lands exactly on top of the other. That fold is called a line of symmetry. Some shapes have one line, some have many, and some have none at all. The keeper left clues all over the glass house, but she never wrote down what any of them mean. Look closely, fold things in your mind, and work together.

How to crack a lock

  • Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
  • Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
  • Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
  • Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
  • A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
