Inside the box is a baseball bat, and hanging from it, fast asleep, is a tiny flying bat. Midnight purrs. "Both meanings were right!"

Your mission

Midnight the cat found a box in a cave. A sign on it says "BAT INSIDE". Is it a flying bat, or a baseball bat? Lots of words have two meanings, and some have five. The only way to know which meaning is right is to look at everything around the word. Some of these sentences are trying to trick you.

How to crack a lock

• Pick any lock from the menu at the top. You can solve them in any order.
• Read every clue before you start. One clue alone is never enough.
• Use scratch paper. Draw pictures, make lists, and cross things out.
• Tap the buttons to build your answer. Then press "Try the lock".
• A lock will not tell you which part is wrong, so be sure before you try.
