Choose your hero...

Every math problem you solve makes your hero more powerful. Here's how each hero starts out:

The warrior at Level 1: a farm boy holding a wooden stick👦 Warrior

Starts as a farm boy with only a wooden stick. Every level brings better weapons and stronger armor.

The mage at Level 1: a young apprentice holding a plain wooden staff👧 Mage

Starts as a young apprentice with a plain wooden staff. Every level brings more powerful magic robes, staffs, and spells.

🐉 THE GOAL: Answer 100 questions correctly. Then you'll face the final boss, the mighty DRAGON. Your Warrior will slay it in ONE HIT... or your Mage will blast it with a mighty FIREBALL! 🔥

📜 The Rules

🧮Each question is a mystery-number problem, like n + 4 = 10. Find the number that makes it true! (Here, n = 6.)
⏱️You have 1 minute for each question. If time runs out, it counts as wrong and the next question pops up.
💪Every 10 correct answers, your hero goes up a level. There are 10 levels in all! The Warrior gets better weapons and armor. The Mage gets more powerful magic robes and spells. Keep going to see what they become!
❤️You can make 9 mistakes. On the 10th wrong answer, your hero is defeated and you start over from question 1.
📈The questions get harder as you go. The last ones have two steps, like 2 × n + 3 = 11.
💾Your quest is saved on this computer, so you can come back and keep going later.
